Nightfall/ healers - Guild Wars Forums

ok, just got nightfall, love it and all. But WTF is up with the healer???!!!!!!! she just sits there and shoots bolts of holy magic, dosnt bother to heal anyone. and when im not in battle, she tries to heal me even though im already at full health

is it just me? or is this how all the healers are in nightfall? the NPC's from the other campaigns do a better job.

idk, ive died 8 times now and still only lvl 4.

The henchmen will often not be the most effective healers, but they certainly will not heal anyone who has maximum health, the are specifically coded not to, they will however remove conditions and hexes from allies with full health (which means you get the divine favour bonus, but thats only a couple of health)

Edit: Remember the fact the there is not an unlimited pool of energy availible, if you are tryiong to fight to many enemies at once, or are taking to long to kill an enemy, your healer will quickly run out of energy. In some cases offence is the best defence.

It could be worse,

You could have Alesia who runs into a horde of enemies to touch heal you.

She doesn't have any holy magic and a small amount of energy (35?). Being just on the island I'm surprised you having this much trouble. My only assumption is your pulling many enemies that are docile and normally won't attack. Even the higher level groups of enemies shouldn't be to much trouble.

Kihm? I find her to be one of the better henchmen healers, personally.

If you're dying that much, then it's probably your own behavior. You're likely over-aggroing things.

are you talking about a henchman or a player?

Well, considering he's level 4, I'm assuming he's talking about Kihm, the henchie.

If he's level 4 and already has gotten Dunkoro...that's probably the problem right there - too low a level. Though is that even possible?
